- When I create an IK,
it doesn't bend in the right direction... How can I invert the
direction of rotation?
In the effects of the layer that is used as a controller, you have to
check a box to choose the direction of rotation! It is possible to
animate this effect, so it is possible to change the bending direction
for a limb during an animation.

When I apply an IK on only one bone, the orientation of my bone changes
and it is out of step with the controller. What can I do?
This is no longer an issue with the 6.2
version and later of Duik, update
your Duik! From this version onwards, it is possible to
rotate a bone, even if an IK has been applied on it!

- When I create a bone
on the pin of a puppet, it is out of step with the pin.
Ensure that the layer which received the puppet has not been modified.
Or else all you have to do is to precompose the layer before creating
the puppet, in order to avoid all problems of that kind.

- I have installed
Duik (version CS3 and CS4) but I can't find it in the Window menu.
The most likely reason is that the script is not located in the right
folder. Make sure that it is in the install folder of After
Effects/Support Files/Scripts/ScriptUI Panels.
^back
to the list^ - When openning Duik, an error about line 1734 occurs.
A folder
called "Duik Icons" is missing in the "Scripts" folder of After
Effects. This folder contains images needed by Duik's User Interface.
You can find this folder in the zip archive you've downloaded.
